Fat Boyz Barbecue Restaurant

Great little place for great tasting barbecue! Had the ribs, brisket and chicken with smoked mac and cheese and Cole slaw and it was amazing! Very flavorful and the sauces were great as well! If you go definitely try the hot and the Carolina! Staff was so friendly!

I finally got a chance to try Fat Boyz BBQ. 10/10! Shout out to Shantel who provided excellent customer service. Starting off the ordering process is very efficient, self checkout! My rib tips were so juicy and flavorful. The bread that the tips were bedded on was lightly toasted with garlic butter. . The potato salad was 100% homemade and clearly made with love so good. It really can be an entree. The coleslaw was sweet and crunchy. The baked beans sweet and tangy. I didn't get a chance to taste the mac & cheese because I was full. Oh did I mentioned they have a lunch special for 10.99 that includes a drink. It ends at 3 pm. Speaking of drinks, I love their exclusive beverage selections. Since I'm mentioning exclusivity, they have their own BBQ sauces and they aren't stingy either. No paying for more. Be as generous as you need to be. The meat is seasoned well, you won't need much sauce. I'll be back! Sorry I can't upload the video of our meals.

Awesome Experience. Great business, with good quality food and excellent customer service. The atmosphere is very laid back. You come in and place your order and seat yourself. The wait time for our order was fairly quick. The food was delicious and made fresh. The brisket, jerk chicken and burnt ends were perfect.

Today is my birthday and my buddy asked where do you want to meet for you birthday lunch. I said man I'm craving some good BBQ! Well Broward doesn't have a lot of options for "GOOD BBQ" at least not close to where I live, so I looked up some different places I haven't been to and we decided to try Fat Boyz Cypress Creek. It was easy for us to meet here because He lives out in Coral Springs and i'm in Pompano Bch. and this location is a block off of I95. Anyway as soon as we pulled up you can smell the smoke and it just hits you when you walk thru the front door (in a, Oh they know what they are doing Good Way). We both had big smiles on our faces. We were greeted and welcomed by a nice lady behind the counter as well as the chef. The menu is HUGE and took us a while to figure out what we wanted. And everything amazing. I chose the 2 meat combo with brisket and pulled pork, baked beans and mac n cheese, my buddy got the ribs. We sat and waited about 7-8min sipping on Birch Beer and or food was brought out. The portion was huge and the brisket was so tender and full of smoke. The pork, also moist and smokey. I tried all of the BBQ sauces they had on the table and I can't tell you which is best because they all are fantastic! Those baked beans are hands down the best i've had! Smokey, sweet and spicy and bits of smoked pork mixed in Oh man! And the Mac n Cheese was done right too! The restaurant was clean with a southern decor. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The chef even came out later and asked if we were enjoying our lunch and about our day. It was all a great first experience and i'm planning on going back this weekend with my wife this time!

Yes sir. My wife and I aren't heavy meat eaters, but we do have those once in a blue moon moments when we desire barbeque. We've lived in Broward county for about 4 years now and I literally went online to find a spot for ribs, brisket etc. And here we are sitting at Fat Boyz. We ordered two plates of 3 meats and yeah, the quality of meat is legit. No disrespect, but the turkey was a bit dry, but I suppose that's how turkey is when it's smoked or on the grill. The ribs, both flavors, were great! We ate everything clean! . On the real though, if we are ever in this part of town and we have those barbecue cravings, you best believe we'll be at Fat Boyz.

Fat Boyz BBQ is hands down one of the best spots I’ve ever been to! The staff here is absolutely amazing—super friendly, attentive, and they make you feel right at home. And the brisket? Out of this world! Juicy, tender, and packed with flavor—it’s clear these guys know what they’re doing. Awesome food, awesome people, just an all-around incredible experience. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out! Can’t wait to come back for more.

We had the most amazing time at Fat Boyz! My grandfather brought the whole crew—my grandmother, my mom, my aunts, my uncle, my cousin, and me—and it turned into one of those meals you talk about for weeks afterward. Right off the bat, we were greeted with such a friendly atmosphere. It got even better when we ran into some really kind folks my grandfather knew who work there—they made us feel right at home and added a personal touch to the whole experience. Now let’s talk about the food: that brisket was out of this world. Perfectly tender, full of smoky flavor, and just the right amount of juiciness—it practically melted in your mouth. Every bite reminded us why BBQ done right is unbeatable. Good food, great people, and family all around? Doesn’t get better than that. Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing bbq. Brisket and burnt ends were perfect. Large portions for the money. Sides were great as well. Sweet service from great people. Will be back every time I come back to town.
